Back to Sydney

Just flew back into Sydney. Found a critical piece of luggage that was missing since we left S.F. Has all the strings and tuners in it, so last night was sorta difficult without the stuff. Should be easier tonight.

Now here’s the current “road” issue. We play Sydney tonight, then immediately fly out to Japan at 6:00 in the morning, tomorrow. Meaning, we go straight from tonight’s show back to the airport. We have to check in by 4:00 a.m. Any sleep will have to come between sound check and the show, or in the airport, or more likely, on the plane tomorrow. I think it’s a 10 hour flight, so that should be plenty of time for a refreshing nap. BTW, because of the schedule, the passenger’s on the flight will be treated 36 hours of road grim, served up in the form of 9 weary rock and rollers.
