Meet the Crew

Steve Emler (Front of House Engineer, the Captain)
Do you like Steve McQueen, well meet his little brother. Unfortunately due to a broken heel, the Cowboy boots are riding in his suitcase until the swelling goes down. Sucks being on the road with anything broken. Luckily for the band his hands and ears are o.k. This guy is probably one of the top 5 front of house (FOH) sound engineers on the road today. His drum mix is pounding, yet clear, and the rest of the mix is big, huge, gi-normous. He is not only the sixth member of the band, he is their “Captain,” as they call him.

Static (Monitor Engineer)
Engineer, Rigger, Union member, all-around handy man. Every band needs one of these guys. Has worked in the industry for years and is extremely reliable. He’s also double dutying as the road manager, a gig that Steve held for years. So, Static has one eye on the equipment and one eye on his day planner. That means no eyes left for the girls, and that’s a good thing since Static is newly married. But, if you knew Static, you would know that to him business always comes first, anyway.

Robbie (Drum Tech, Guitar Tech)

This guy is a crack up! More significantly, he cracks himself up. He’s usually the first one to laugh at his own jokes, then everyone else laughs with him. He’s got this crazy, psycho laugh that starts as a low mumble then ends up sounding like one of those buzzers that one uses to buzz in a person waiting at the front door of an apartment complex. It’s totally contagious. BTW, this guy is a great drummer, in his own right. (Input and output jacks on his neck,

Marc (Guitar Tech, Bass Tech)
Let’s add to that Legal Counsel in the right, er, wrong situation. The guys love saying that have their own attorney on tour. On this tour, I’ll be handling Dave’s guitars and Brian’s basses and their rigs. But, I'll show you more of that later.
